Hodd part oneTom Franklin moved to Hoddesdon in 1918, and started the Hoddesdon Newsreel just after the Second World War.
He was an expert photographer and became well known for his cine films of local events, which were widely shown, and raised many hundreds of pounds for charity, particularly the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals. Part One gives a fascinating look into the life and the events he filmed during the late 1940's and early 50's.
Running time approximately 30 mins. Price £10.00
